this is a test for new paper (+gouache) that josh recommended. it's still kinda weird to use new mediums but i'll try to make bigger paintings from today. i'm planning to make 25 pieces for the taylor de cordoba show in october.

i made a painting today. i hated it,,so i fold it in half and threw it away. my head hurts now.

i baked nutella cupcakes after i finished the painting below. cupcakes are sooooo good with black coffee.



now i need to go back to work... *sigh*

i made this last weekend. i used gouache instead of acrylic and i like it better.

brad just bought a $400 vintage microphone on ebay. maybe i can buy the ikea dining table, too? eek,, but we are spending too much money this month then..... but but but,,,, i want to make cupcakes and have tea parties with my girl friends! that table is just so damn perfect!

i'll think about it a little more and decide..

lizard feet

today i realized that i've been neglecting my feet for a loooooooong time. i've been walking around in flipflops all summer and my poor feet are totally sun damaged. they are dry, dark and even wrinkly... eeew. brad started calling my feet "lizard feet"! so this is what i did tonight. put a lot of vaseline and then,,,



it looks gross but it really works! my feet are soft and happy. : )

i dont really like IKEA stuff that much since my one year old ikea work chair is already broken. but i'd love to have this dining set in our tiny dining+kitchen. i think the design is perfect for a small space and the chairs even have cushions! i need $299!

daddy's girl

i hate sunday night. maybe it's because i know that i'll get tons of emails from people who i work with as soon as i wake up tomorrow morning. uugh,, i think i'm going to quit the storyboard job. well the season's almost over anyway. but if they want to give me one more episode, i'll pass. i'm soooo over it! ,,,, i'm gonna need some other gigs soon. i'm thinking to do some illustration works for magazines if anyone wants to work with me. help me, josh! ; )

brad is sooo busy lately. he's been working nonstop for a month. it's sunday night (12 am) but he's still at work. : (

i had dinner with matt, josh and kelly at malo on sunset. it was so fun hanging out with them and the food was great! josh gave matt one of his paintings and i was super jealous. i already have his old work that i love but the one matt got today is so so cool! i want some more!
