dinner at malo

brad and i had dinner with kelly and matt at malo. chips and salsa, enchiladas, red wine sangria and brownie ice cream,, mmmm it was so good. we were there for two and a half hours and it was a good time. : )

i dropped my camera and the lens is broken. i tried to get rid of some broken plastic pieces from inside and now it has dust and finger prints all over. it still takes pictures but it might get worse soon. so i need a new lens and i have to get the camera professionally cleaned. : (

can't fall asleep

after 5 shots of S.T.R.O.N.G espresso i'm sooooooo awake. i received my espresso maker today and this is what happened. my body feels super light, my brain feels sharp and sparkly and i hear my heart going "DUDM. DUDM. DUDM".

tomorrow i will drink only one shot of espresso.
i want to fall asleep but i can't. waaahhh~~~~~

breakfast and flowers

i love cucumbers - cucumber water, cucumber soda, cucumber salad, anything with cucumbers! i've been eating cucumber sandwiches for breakfast often. if you'd like to make it, here's the recipe. i don't put green onions but i add fresh dill.

also i'm so happy with my new milk frother. it makes my coffee so so yummy.

every summer these orange flowers from our front yard say hello.

relaxing time at the park

our house started getting too hot around 4pm so we went to the park and hung out under a huge tree. i think we are going to do this often in this summer. it was very nice.

it's hot again! i wore a long vintage skirt as a dress today. i really like the bright and cheery colors. added a black cardigan later when i went out to see tina's play in the evening.

i've been getting many kind emails from readers lately. i feel so flattered that so many people are enjoying my photos and clumsy writing. i started this blog to practice writing in english {still very clumsy} and now it has become a small part of my life. i like having my little space here. thanks so much for reading. : )

i didn't get out of the house all day since it was a little cold and gray. so i was daydreaming while painting and drinking my hot coffee. i was thinking about having a little wedding party someday. {we've never had a wedding ceremony} actually it will be more like celebrating our marriage with our family and friends.

i don't even know when this is going to happen but let's plan ahead. the party will be at our backyard {hopefully we have a house by the time}, it's going to be a fun summer night party with champaign, watermelon punch, food from MALO and a huge chocolate chiffon cake. candles and flowers are all over,,, i'm wearing a flowy blue mini dress with gold flats.

i'm smiling now. hee hee.
